Remembrance Day | Proud to Be Canadian
It's November 11, Remembrance Day. I won't pretend to be able to comprehend the sacrifices brave Canadian Men & Women have made to protect my freedom. But I can say that I am extremely grateful. Thank-you.In 2004, I visited Canada's World War II Museum in Normandy, France. Growing up in the 90's and 00's in Alberta, this was one of my first 'real' understandings of what war is. It may have just been photographs, broken down barricades and stories, but for the first time I began to see. Here are a few scans from the film I took that day.

Edmonton International Film Festival {PHOTOBOOTH} | Edmonton Event Photographers
So guess what?! I had the absolute honour of shooting for the EIFF the last couple weekends. It was so, so fantastic; There were GREAT films (obviously), an academy award winning actress, amazing actors, writers & directors and a fantastic group of people just hanging out and watchin' movies. All in all, the Film Fest was AMAZING and a total blast! The evidence is in the photobooth. ENJOY!!!Truly,KarmenP.S. Thanks so much to Kristen Bass and Tami Paul for assisting! You girls are the BEST.
