Sarah & Dean {PHOTOBOOTH} | Edmonton & Red Deer Wedding Photographers
This St. Paul wedding was a blast from beginning to end! Jo and I hardly even noticed that we had been awake for 19hours!! Check it out for yourself =) ENJOY!!Truly,Karmen
Wanna see it bigger and better?! Check it out HERE!!.....
.........O and I couldn't resist sharing some of their reception awesomeness!!!!
Apparently it is a French tradition that if a younger sister gets married before her older sisters they have to dance in a bucket of ICE COLD water!! Ya, I don't know how much fun Sarah's older sister had, but we had a blast watching their fabulous MJ inspired dance.

Sarah & Dean {sneakpeek} | Edmonton & Red Deer Engagement Photographers
Now this shoot was a frustrating one. Not because the people weren't gorgeous, easy going and just all around awesome.... because they were .... it was because it was miserable out. NOt only was it pouring rain, but using an umbrella was nearly impossible since it was so windy! To top it all off, every indoor location we tried to use was locked or unavailable or something!!!......So, it ended up being an adventure! Sarah and Dean just took it all in stride, we got soaking wet hanging out in the rain, we EXPLORED little nooks and crannies of the U of A trying to find the perfect light and location and in the end I can honestly say that I met some amazing people, had a great time and captured some beautiful images. I hope you love your sneakpeek Sarah & Dean!!! ENJOY!!Truly, Karmen

Albums | Edmonton & Red Deer Photographers
YAY!!! Got another order in AND remembered to take pictures. So here is a sample of just a few of the album options I offer. The big leather album is an 8x10 wedding album. The smaller, 5x5, albums are what you would receive when you book your family session, maternity session, grad session, boudoir session, couple session...... well basically any session!!! All the albums come in tonnes of different fabrics & leathers; even printable canvas & metal! Yup, so I think they are pretty awesome. What do you think??Truly,Karmen
Tory & Kara-Dawn {inLove} | Edmonton & Destination Wedding Photographers
Good Morning Everyone!!! Hope you all had a fantastic weekend. I just wanted to share a sneakpeek from a shoot I did last week with Kara-Dawn & Tory!We met for the first time the day of the shoot on Tory's parents' farm in Usona {whew that's almost a tongue twister}. We were greeted by crisp spring air, noisy cattle and Tory's super sweet parents. I could tell immediately that Kara-Dawn & Tory were wonderful people and that we were gonna have a blast to shooting. And well, not to brag or anything but, I was right. I really hope you guys love your photos, I cannot wait to send you the rest!!! ENJOY!!Truly,Karmen P.S. O and I want to say thanks sooo much to Diane Herron for second shooting on this shoot. You were fantastic. Diane is a student who is in her Second Year of the NAIT Photographic Technology program {yup, the same course I graduated from last year!!} and came to hang out with me for a week as part of her required 2 week work experience. I was shocked when she asked and I worked hard to persuade her to go elsewhere {somewhere she might stand a chance of learning something useful haha} but she stood her ground and we had a great week together. She is fantastic photographer and I can't wait to see where this sometimes crazy career takes her =) Good luck Diane!

The DeGroots | Edmonton, Red Deer & International Photographers
I am very, very happy to share with you today some photos of a few of my most favorite people. The DeGroot's are an amazing family, each and every one them have hearts as big as they come and a Faith that is truly inspiring. When Heidi (one of my very best-est friends!) asked if I would be interested in shooting some family photos for their Parent's 30th Anniversary I was super excited. We were a bit limited when it came to locations because of the cold and Ryan's wheelchair, but honestly it wouldn't have mattered where we shot the photos; it really is their joy and love for each other that makes these photos amazing. I really hope you guys love the photos and that they will become a keepsake and an awesome memory =) Can't wait to send you the rest! LOVE YOU!! ENJOY!!Truly,KarmenP.S. Thanks to another favorite person and best-est friend, JO!

Benjamin & Danielle {forever} | Edmonton, Red Deer & International Wedding Photographers
Hey Everybody!!! First of all I just want to say thanks so much to all of you who keep coming back to check out my new work and welcome to anyone who is here for the first time =) All the input and encouragement I have received from all of you over the past year has seriously helped shape my photography and keeps me working hard to become a better photographer with every shoot! I am so passionate about what I do and I absolutely love photographing people who are passionate about their photographs, as well as their event. Ben & Danielle were one of those amazing couples! It was easy to tell that so much thought and planning went into their beautiful wedding, they even managed to choose probably the most gorgeous day in October. The entire day was basked in a low, golden sunlight that seriously enriched their photos with such a romantic, natural feel.Danielle is an amazing artist and you could see her creativity mirrored throughout their entire wedding. From the decorations to the amazing bouquets, most of the details in their big day were handmade or purchased off of the fantastic online handmade & vintage market place, Etsy, including Danielle's dress which is a replica of the one Zooey Deschanel {I adore her!!} wears in 500 Days of Summer {one of my most favorite movies!!}. Throughout the entire day I found I was so easily inspired by the two of them and am sooo thrilled with the photos. Check it out for yourself! What do you think?? ENJOY!!Truly,KarmenP.S. Don't forget to check out their awesome photobooth!!!P.P.S. Brendan & Jo, thanks so much for assisting =) You guys are seriously the best!
